A Bit About Me
Tunde M. Yussuf - Multifaceted Artist & Designer
Tunde M. Yussuf has been passionate about art from a very young age.
He started with pencil drawings, drawing inspiration from his own imagination and the active environment he grew up in. As he developed his skills with the pencil he gradually discovered paint and began to experiment with that form. Tunde has always been auto didactic so it was not long before he became well versed in painting.
This was not the end of his hunger for artistic knowledge. In his twenties, Tunde went on to train part-time in sculpture, manual screen printing and sign writing. It was some years later in Ireland that he would be introduced to glass fusing, pottery, ceramic and jewellery making, with the jewellery being the main focus of his works today alongside glass art..
Furthermore, Tunde also attended FAS computer training course (Certified) and Further Education and Training Awards Council - FETAC teacher training (Certified) in Ireland. He was an active member of the Meath Art group and has been involved in many exhibitions with them. He has also made solo exhibitions in galleries, libraries and street art exhibitions.

Afro –Irish fusion in art is combining the vibrant colours of African art with the beautiful materials and styles more often found in Celtic designs to make an original and elegant style of handcrafted items.
